THE AUTUMNAL FERTILIZATION OF THE VINEYARD
The fertilization of the vineyards in autumn offers important agronomic advantages.
The supply of nutrients after harvest and before the dormant allows the vine to accumulate reserve substances useful for the next spring vegetative growth. This type of fertilization, also, has the advantage of preparing the plant for the winter.
WHAT KIND OFFERTILIZER TO USE?
In the autumn the use of organic fertilizers and soil improvers is absolutely preferable to mineral products. Chemical fertilizers have a quick release of nutrients that should be mostly washed out and then lost (with obvious economic and environmental damage). By contrast, the chemical, physical and biological properties of organic fertilizers ITALPOLLINA make them ideal to use at this time of year.
FERTILIZATIONOF THE NEW VINEYARDS
For the fertilization of the vineyard planting is recommended to use during the preparation of the soil 1,5-2,0 ton / hectare of BIO-REX. In this way you rovide a large quantity of organic matter to improve the soil fertility.
After transplantation, make a localized fertilization with 300 – 400 kg/hectare of GUANITO, NPK 6-15-3 organic fertilizer that also contains calcium and magnesium. The richness of organic phosphorus makes Guanito particularly suitable for fertilization of the young plants, because it promotes root development, maturation of the buds and the formation of wood.
VINEYARDS IN PRODUCTION
For the fertilization of vineyards in production, we recommend the use of PHENIX, NPK 6-8-15organic fertilizer containing magnesium.
PHENIX is the ideal fertilizer for vines: total organic nitrogen provides a gradual release. Phosphorus, completely organic, is not subject to retrogradation or insolubilization thus being much more efficient than traditional mineral fertilizers. The high potassium content (NO CHLORIDE!) exerts a positive effect on the maturation and improves the quality of the grapes.
Magnesium, calcium and trace elements complete nutrition, making it balanced and effective.
PHENIX also provides active organic matter and beneficial microorganisms that improve physical and biological fertility of the soil and make optimum availability of nutrients.
Dose: 0,4 – 0,6 ton/hectare
BIO-REX, GUANITO AND PHENIX are organic fertilizers allowed in organic farming.
