Pegaso
MULTI-PURPOSE COMPOUND MACHINE TO FERTILIZE,
SOW AND WORK THE SOIL
PEGASO can be utilized to sow in-row cultivations (maize, oleaginous and proteinic cultivations) and full field cultivations (strawy grains, rice, forage etc), on previously ploughed soils or interested by minimum work up to soils being unworked and covered with residues.
Its versatility is accentuated by the possibility to adjust the machine for the minimum soil working, in stubble breakage, the mechanical control of weeds and the false sowing.
The sower is composed of a main chassis, which fulfils the hauling and supporting tasks of the whole structure, and secondary (patented) chassis linked to the main chassis by tie-rods, which support five elastic pararallelograms each and stabilized by a load distribution hydraulic system.
A remarkable mobility of the element can be got as it follows perfectly the soil profile by leaning on the front wheel and the rear roller.

This fertilizing technique allows cancelling the losses of the main elements (N, P) due to steady rains in the winter-spring period and keeping the phosphorus assimibility high in clayey-calcareous soils over the months.
The steady nitrogen and phosphorus assimilation, in the period ranging from the emergence stage to the kernel filling stage, permits a great increase of the grain protein concentration.
The fertilizer with RADAR fits perfectly the situations, in which the contributions of elements in pre-sowing activities are frustrated by the long period going from sowing to earing and when the high frequency of rainy events prevents the fertilizer distribution in the period late-winter-early spring.
The high supply of fertilizing units and the excellent protection of chemistry (27% C) makes the use of RADAR suitable in the different agro-alimentary actions.

The RADAR distribution while sowing by Eos or Pegaso (see the pages to follow) allows an optimal maize fertilizing also under unfavourable climatic situation (difficulty to intervene in pre-sowing actions).
RADAR enhances a better seeds emergence and a correct transformation of the cultivation residues. It determines an antagonism on the pathogens thanks to the contribution of a high quantity of micro-organisms.
All this benefits both a lower accumulation of micro-toxins in the production and the cultivation profitability optimization.
ADVANTAGES OF RADAR ON MAIZE:
- Quantity decrease of fertilizer.
- Cultivation costs reduction (the passage of the sole fertilization is avoided).
- Production upgrading.
- Rate increase of organic substance in soil.
EXCLUSIVE FEATURES:
- Multi-purpose machine suitable for the direct sowing.
- Patented Collocati Opener drillers.
- Patented independent chassis.
- Planting of fertilizer and seed between two soil lawyers.
- Manageable placement of the organic fertilizer and seed.
THE COLLOVATI OPENER DRILLER OFFERS THE FOLLOWING ADVANTAGES:
- Furrow closing – regardless of the working speed, the soil moisture or the presence of abundant skeleton – thanks to the ploughshare shape.
- Excellent contact seed - soil.
- Absence of pressure for the plough opening and the two layers working.
- The seed can be placed by simple rows, bands or full field.
- Possibility to place the organic fertilizer in different positions.
- High penetration capacity also on compact soils.
FERTILIZING AND SOWING BY PEGASO, CUTAWAY SIGHT

This figure shows the horizontal cut made by the hook, the placement of fertilizer and seed, the central ploughing carried out by the ferrule (at various depths). The hook allows the placement of the seed between two soil layers, while the residues remain on the surface.

The air supply control let the seed be spread along the whole width of the hook (band sowing) or be launched up to its end (in-rows sowing).
