ltalpollina Spa has always proofed with facts that it is concerned with public health, in full observance of national and EU provisions. As confirmation of the company’s great trustworthiness, ltalpollina Spa achieved on November 2005 another important award, a result almost unique in Europe: the CE certification of conformity with standard CE 1069/09.

CE 1069/09 provides strict sanitary and animal-health-condition rules for processing animal by-products; for this reason we believe that it is a great award for our commitment during many years of trustworthy work. The CE 1069/09 standard guarantees that all process realized in the company shall be in full respect of and with total care to protection of the user’s health; in times during which animal epidemics are very common, this is the best guarantee that a company can give to customers.

CE 1069/09 guarantees the total traceability of the company’s products; the strict control from the beginning to the end of the production chain is the greatest and most certain guarantee for man and environment:

• All materials coming into the company are processed within the following day, so to avoid fermentations and decompositions;
• The total insulation of the divisions belonging to the processing plant avoids crossed contaminations;
• To further guarantee the safety of the product treated, samples are taken daily and they are subjected to chemical and microbiological analysis.

Italpollina S.p.a. has submitted application for achievement of the ISO 14001 environmental certification. An ISO 14001 certified company adopts an organizational system with the same features as a quality system, respects the environment around the production site, eliminates the environmental impact caused by its activities, products and services supplied.
